To send email from your domain and ensure deliverability with proper authentication, follow these steps to update your DNS settings with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Navigate to the Account Settings Tab
Log in to your platform and click on Account Settings in the main menu.
Select Integrations
In the settings menu, select Integrations.
Scroll Down to Email
Scroll to the Email section and click on Set Up Email Domain or Configure Email.
Enter Your Custom Domain
You'll be prompted to enter your custom domain (e.g.,
yourcompany.com).A domain is the part of your email address that comes after the “@” — like @yourcompany.com. It’s usually the same domain as your website. This tells email providers who you are and helps authenticate your messages.
Copy DNS Records
You’ll be provided with three types of DNS records to add to your domain:
- SPF (TXT record) – Helps verify that your domain is allowed to send email.
- DKIM (TXT record) – Authenticates your messages to prevent tampering.
- DMARC (TXT record) – Protects your domain from spoofing and phishing.
Log in to Your Domain Provider
Open a new tab and log in to your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains).

Locate DNS Settings
Find your domain’s DNS Management or Zone Editor section.
Add the Records
For each record (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC):
- Choose TXT as the record type.
- Use the provided Host/Name and Value/Content from your email platform.
- Save the changes.
Verify Your Setup
Return to the email settings in your platform and click Verify Domain. Note: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate.
